  It depends on the payment method or service you choose because Klarna performs different types of searches to check your financial standing.

• Klarna - Does Klarna perform a credit check?

  They do not always perform a credit check on you, they want to make sure they are helping the customers make the right financial decisions for any circumstances. They will perform a soft credit check when you decide to Pay in 4, Pay in 30 days and apply for monthly financing.

• Klarna - Do I need to pay off all payments before the product ships?

  No. Klarna allows you to receive the product upfront without paying it off first.

• Klarna - How can I extend my due date?

  If the option to extend your due date is available it will be offered: Go to Payments > Select the order you would like to pay later > Tap Payment Options and then tap Extend due date.

  Your payments are automatically withdrawn from your connected card or bank account according to the agreed payment schedule.

  Your refund will be processed within 14 days. Once we have registered your return or cancellation, you will receive your refund according to our refund policy.

  When you Pay in 4, we split your purchase into 4 equal payments. We collect the first payment when you check out. The remaining 3 payments are collected every 2 weeks. You spread the cost over 6 weeks, with no interest or fees if you pay on time.

  You will need to contact Klarna directly if you are struggling with paying online. In some cases, you will need to check your credit card information just to be sure all the data is correct.

  Klarna offers no-interest financing without fees or interest, as long as you fully repay your balance on time. However, if you miss a payment, there is a late fee of up to $7.00.

  There is a late fee of up to $7.00 if you miss a payment. Your missed payment will be added to the next scheduled one, and you won’t be able to purchase again until your balance is paid.

  Your automatic payment settings aren't universal. That means that if you want to change the payment method that has automatic payment, you need to change your settings for each purchase.

  Yes, you can! There are no fees for paying more than your installment amount, or for paying off your whole balance early.

  Unfortunately, no. You cannot buy gift cards using Shop Pay Installments.

  Unfortunately, no. You cannot buy subscription products using Shop Pay Installments.

• Shop Pay Installments - Does Shop Pay Installments impact my credit score?

  There will be no impact on your credit score since Affirm doesn't conduct a hard credit pull or report to the credit bureaus. However, having late payments and non-payments may affect your future approvals to use Shop Pay Installments.
